Duties:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients

  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

  • Prescribe and manage medication regimens for patients

  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, for adults, adolescents, and young children

  • Administration of various medications in the office, including injections

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options

  • No on-call duties

Required Qualifications:

  • PMHNP licensed in TN (Newly licensed welcome.)

  • Proficient in conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments

  • Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to prescribe and manage medication regimens

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions for various mental health conditions

  • Strong communication

  • Comfortable providing treatment in-office, by phone, and via telehealth

Desired Qualifications:

  • TN DEA certification. If not, you must immediately apply upon offer acceptance.

  • Licensed in VA. If not, you must immediately apply upon offer acceptance.

  • VA DEA certification. If not, you must apply pending VA licensure.

  • Experience treating seniors

  • Experience treating young children

  • Experience with children with extreme trauma

  • Experience with LGBTQA+ patients

  • Meet Virginia's Full practice authority (autonomous practice) requirements

  • Possess Virginia Full practice authority (autonomous practice)

Compensation:

  • $144,000 - $168,000/year depending on experience

  • 401(k) with 3% company match
